I have a solid linguistic background, and have been working with languages for the past 15 years. While gaining my MA in English from the Maria Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland, I taught English and Business English to a wide variety of clients, including sales reps and bankers, and also began to work as a translator. In 2008 I completed a PhD in Literary and Cultural Studies at the Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany and became a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, the pre-eminent UK professional body for language practitioners, and an Associate of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, an independent professional association of translators and interpreters. In 2014 I passed the ITI exam and became a Qualified Member (MITI) of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting
